A Music Note ¯Do you like to sing? Would you like to make a joyful noise unto the Lord? Please prayerfully consider joining our church choir. Our rehearsal start date will be Wednesday, September 14th at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. Rehearsals usually are from 7-8 every Wednesday night. Also, if you are interested in praising the Lord by playing an instrument, please contact: Denise Hennig.
LADIES AID— Our regular monthly meetings will resume on September 20, 2011 at 1 PM. We look forward to seeing YOU there!
The Office
Reminder: We have the ability to do direct deposit transfers. If it would be of any help to you, we can set up your tuition payments to be directly transferred from your account to save you the time of writing out those pesky checks. In addition, we can now also do direct transfers for Church contributions as well. This is free of charge to you and you are allowed to pick the date of transfer and how often you would like to have it transferred. It can be monthly, bi-monthly, weekly, etc. If you are interested in setting this up, call the church office at 529-3307. It is very easy to set up. You can stop the transfers just as easily, if it turns out that this program is not working for you. If you are interested in this or have any questions, please call the office.
Remember, anytime Concordia can be of any assistance to you or your families please come in or call and speak with one of us.
Thank you, Sharon and Lora
Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 15th at 6:30pm. At our meeting we will have a guest named Marsha S. Marsha is from St. John’s New Berlin and she will be doing a painting demonstration. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this demonstration with us!
A Big thank you goes out for all of your clothing donations. Our Free clothing Give-away was a great success. A thank you card was received by Concordia and read as follows:
"Thank you Sooo much for your generosity & caring. We have 5 children and were having financial difficulties and didn’t know how we would pay to get them more summer clothes. I stood on the promise that God would provide and then a day later I saw your sign for free clothes! Praise God! Bless You!"
We gave away over 400 bags of clothing! Please save your clothing for next year! We especially need you to bring in your kids clothing. It seems to be in great demand and we did not have as much of it donated as adult clothes.
Thank you and keep saving your clothes for us.

TOPIC: Invent a pizza! As seen on 07/06/2011.
The latest pizza craze is a peanut butter and jelly pizza
with banana, strawberry, peach and kiwi slices on it.
-Meah (6th grade)
I call my pizza the food pyramid pizza! Each part of the pizza has a part of the food pyramid. The crust is the grain, the cheese is the dairy and from there on it will be layered. The meat has pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, pork chops and bacon. The fruit would be pineapple, apple, banana, oranges and tomatoes. The vegetables would be broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, mushrooms and peppers. And that is my healthy, fantasy pizza!
-Alec (6th grade)
My pizza would have triple layers of cheese and pepperoni.
-Stephawn (6th grade)
